Here's all you need to know about the Book of Mormon, one of the most captivating shows in New York City.
The Book of Mormon is about the rigidness of religion. The show is a hilarious comedy created by the masterminds behind the adult series "South Park" - Matt Stone, Trey Parker and Robert Lopez. The political satire follows two young missionaries named Elder Price and Elder Cunningham who travel to a Ugandan village to try to convert the local people to the Mormon religion.
Elder Price is enthusiastic and dedicated to his faith, while Elder Cunningham is a nerdy truth embellisher who lands the duo in trouble along the way. Once the missionaries arrive in Africa, they realize the country is riddled with disease, poverty, violence and more. They encounter many issues as they try to teach Mormonism to the reluctant villagers.
