How to get to Tanah Lot temple? How long does it take?

Tanah Lot Temple is located in Tabanan destrict, approximately 20 kilometers northwest of Denpasar.

Count around 45 minutes to reach Tanah Lot by car from the main southern tourist areas of Kuta, Legian and Seminyak. If you are staying in Sanur or on the Bukit Peninsula, plan at least an hour drive to reach Tanah Lot. From Ubud, count around 30 minutes drive.

Once you arrive at Tanah Lot, you need to walk through a series of Balinese souvenir shops while strolling down a path to the sea. There are restaurants available for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Most of the restaurants exist on the mainland clifftops overlooking Tanah Lot Temple.
