Jurong Bird Park

Opened in 1971, Jurong Bird Park is the largest bird park in Asia and offers a haven to 3500 birds across 400 species of which 20% are threatened. Located on the western slope of Jurong Hill, it covers an area of 20 hectares.

What is the best time to visit the Jurong Bird Park in Singapore? How to avoid the crowd?

Jurong  Bird Park receives its highest volume of visitors mid-day, between 11 am and 2 pm. Therefore, you should visit the park in the early morning hours (the gates open at 8:30 am) or later in the  afternoon before closing (6 pm).
