Who is eligible for discounts?

There is a discounted ticket rate available for those who are under 25 years old or over 65 years old, accredited university students and holders of the Libraries Card of Barcelona.

Those eligible pay a reduced price of €7.50 per person to visit the collection and temporary exhibitions, and €4.50 per person to visit only the temporary exhibitions.

Is it possible to visit for free?

You can visit the museum for free every Thursday evening between 5 PM and 8 PM and on the first Sunday of every month. There are also a few ‘Open Door’ days, which take place on 12th February, 18th May and  24th September.

Free entry is also always given to under-18s, Pink Card holders, professional tourist guides (when working), accredited journalists and accredited teachers in Spain.

Should you book in advance?

What are the opening times?

The Picasso Museum in Barcelona is open throughout the year between Tuesdays and Sundays from 10 AM to 8 PM. The museum is closed on Mondays as well as a few major public holidays, including New Year’s Day and Christmas Day.
