From Amsterdam
From Amsterdam, you can reach the Keukenhof gardens by buying combined tickets or using public transport.
If you want to reach the gardens with your car you may have two solutions:
– take the A4 motorway and take the Nieuw-Vennep exit
– take the highway A44 and take exit 3 for Lisse
After leaving the highway, you need to follow the signs towards Keukenhof.
If you go to the gardens by car, remember that you will have to book the parking for € 6.00
From Rotterdam
With public transports, you may take the intercity direct to Amsterdam and hop off at Schiphol Airport. From there you can reach the bus 858 to Keukenhof.
If you want to reach the gardens with your car, you may take the A4 highway and take the Nieuw-Vennep exit. After leaving the highway, follow the signs towards Keukenhof.
What is the best time to visit?
Keukenhof tulips gardens are open from 21 March to the 19 May 2019 from 08:00 am to 7:30 pm.
To avoid the crowd, we recommend you to join the gardens in the early morning or late afternoon, and you can also take beautiful photo thanks to the light of the morning and evening sun.
During the week, usually, the park is less busy on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
