Don’t leave the island without experiencing one of its best-kept-secret activities – stargazing! The island is known locally to be one of the best places to do some clear stargazing, and even catch sight of the milky way on extremely clear days!

Because the island doesn’t suffer from tons of light pollution like many other islands worldwide, it doesn’t matter where you are, because chances are, you might catch a glimpse of a starry night anywhere on the island.

The best recommendation to see the spectacular star show is to visit a beach at night. Bring a blanket, some chairs, and even a snack and your camera, and get ready to pass the time looking up continuously in awe of the clarity of the stargazing on the island.

It’s one of the best things to do in Moorea that not many know about right away, so add it to your itinerary!
