Amy Pieterse is a South African writer and editor with a background in journalism. She grew up going on safaris in the Kruger National Park, which imbued in her a love of nature, and led her to traverse South Africa's landscapes on numerous hiking expeditions. Travels to cities like New York City, Paris, London, Edinburgh, Hong Kong and Florence have given her a deeper understanding of global cultures and a taste for new experiences.
