Lesley Scott

Lesley Scott believes that curiosity, a genuine interest in other people, and the courage to step out of her comfort zone are the key to her creative nature. When she’s not creating online content, editing and proof-reading manuscripts or expanding her horizons, Lesley is a qualified Psychometrist who also holds a Masters degree in Psychology. She spent her early adult years working in the tourism and travel industry, including at some of Southern Africa’s top Luxury Game Lodges (even training as a WIlderness Guide) before pivoting to a role as a travel consultant; tailoring itineraries for both inbound and outbound travelers. Lesley has also worked extensively as a photographer and published a number of children’s books. Born in South Africa, and currently living in Cape Town, Lesley’s love of travel is driven by the desire to visit new places and connect in meaningful ways with the people that live there. She loves local road trips and journeys to far-flung destinations equally, and always has her next itinerary in the planning stages.
