Day 1 – Tangier, Chefchaouen, Fez

Your 4-day journey from Tangier starts with pickup from your hotel, the port or the airport. From there you will set off towards the foothills of the Rif Mountains where the iconic blue city of Chefchaouen is sprawled along its slopes.

Day 2 – Fez, Midelt, Merzouga Sahara desert

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before setting off towards Midelt. On the way, you will cross through the plains of Saiss and the Cedar Forest of the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop for lunch in Midelt and then continue over the Ziz River and through the Kasbahs to Erfoud.

Your final destination of the day is Merzouga and Erg Chebbi. Here you will go on a camel ride across the impressive Saharan dunes as the sun starts to dip below the horizon. You will overnight in a traditional desert camp where you will indulge in a Tagine dinner while being serenaded with traditional Berber music.

Day 3 – Tinghir Oasis, Todra Gorges, Dades Gorges

You will drive to the lush Tinghir Oasis where you can visit Berber villages as you stroll along the banks of the Todgha River. You will drive through Todgha Canyon with its sheer rocky walls towering high above.

The last stretch of your road trip for the day will pass through the Dades Valley where you will see ancient fortified Kasbahs. You will spend the night at a beautiful hotel in remote surroundings in the Dades Gorge.

Day 4 – Dades Gorge, Roses valley, Ouarzazate, Ait benhaddou, Marrakech

The last day takes you on a scenic journey to Marrakesh. You will pass through Rose Valley, the town of El Kelaa Mgouna and the bountiful oasis of Skoura. A highlight of this day is a visit to the town of Ouarzazate where the world’s largest film studio has set the scenes for productions like Lawrence of Arabia and Game of Thrones.

You will have free time to wander around the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddo, a perfectly preserved fortification and living museum. Take on the last stretch of the journey through the High Atlas Mountains and drive over the highest pass in the country, the Tizi n Tichka Pass.
