How much do Kremlin tickets cost?
The Kremlin takes on several roles and is primarily a place where the government resides. However, it is also a major tourist attraction and several places are opened to the public. Please find below tickts price for each areas.
1 – Ticket to the Armoury Chamber
This ticket provides admission to the Armoury Chamber. You will discover a world-famous treasure house displaying more than 4,000 unique exhibits.
- Ticket to the Armoury Chamber costs 1,000 RUB (US$ 16) for adults and are free of charge for visitors under 16 years old.
Visitors must book a time-slot when purchasing their tickets. Visits start at 10 am, 12 pm, 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm.
2 – Ticket to the architectural complex of Cathedral Square
This ticket includes admission to the following museums-cathedrals: the Assumption Cathedral, the Archangel Cathedral, the Annunciation Cathedral, the Church of Laying Our Lady’s Holy Robe, and the Patriarch’s Palace with the Twelve Apostles’ Church.
This ticket also provides admission to the Ceremonial mounting parade of the Presidential regiment.
- Ticket to the archtectural complex of Cathedral Square costs 700 RUB (US$ 11) for adults and are free of charge for visitors under 16 years old.
3 – Ticket to the Museum of History in the ‘Ivan the Great’ Bell Tower
Part of the Cathedral Square, you will find the “Ivan the Great” Bell Tower. You will learn more about the history of the Bell Tower and its spectacular architecture, and enjoy a breath-taking view of the Kremlin panorama.
- Ticket to the Museum of History in the ‘Ivan the Great’ Bell Tower cost 350 RUB (US$ 5.5). Children under 14 years old are not allowed.

4 – Ticket to the Diamond Fund
Part of the Armory Chamber, the Diamond Fund is one of the 3 most valuable collections in the world, along with the Imperial Crown Jewels of Iran and the Crown Jewels in the UK.
- Ticket to the Diamond Fund cost 500 RUB (US$ 8).
The exhibition is open to the public daily from 10 am to 5 pm with visits starting every 20 minutes.
Who are eligible for discounts?
The Kremlin offers free entry for anyone under the age of 16, which includes entry to the Armory Chamber and Cathedral Square. However, free-entry tickets can’t be purchased online and need to be collected at the ticket booths of the Kremlin.

April to August tend to be the best months to visit the Kremlin. The winter months in Moscow can be harsh, with temperatures going into the minus. If you visit at this time of year, make sure you wrap up warm.

Early mornings and towards the evenings are the best times to see the Kremlin away from the crowds. A visit to the Armory Chamber and Cathedral Square takes about 4 hours if you want to see everything, so make sure that you give yourself plenty of time in advance.
