Multi-day Tours and Trips from Tokyo

A multi-day trip from Tokyo is an excellent way to travel beyond the city limits. The vibrant cities, interesting landscapes, and rich cultural traditions and practices make Japan a country worth exploring.

As you venture further afield, you will see many landmarks that honor Japanese tradition and innovation and visit places of historical and cultural significance.

In Tokyo, you'll find the ultra-modern and the traditional sit side by side, and you will see more interesting contrasts as you go outside of the city.

Depending on your tour, you will travel with your guide by road or rail on a small-group or private basis. Here are descriptions of some of the best multi-day itineraries from Tokyo.

Osaka

Osaka is located 500 kilometers south-east of Tokyo and can be reached by air, rail or road. The shinkansen or bullet train is by far the fastest and most convenient way to travel between the two cities, with a one-way traveling time of around 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can hop onboard an express overnight bus service.

If you would like to visit Osaka but also see the sights between the two cities, then a 7-day private tour is the perfect choice. On this customizable tour, you will travel between Tokyo, Mt. Fuji, Kyoto and Osaka. Your experienced driver will make recommendations for sightseeing stops along the route and at each overnight stop.

You can travel in a group of up to 15 people which makes it an ideal choice for families or friends traveling together. On a private multi-day tour, you also have the option of upgrading your booking to include the services of a private guide throughout.

Your accommodation is not included in this tour and you are therefore able to choose the hotels en route that best fit with your budget and requirements.
