What is the Mozart Ballroom Concert about?

Prague’s Mozart Ballroom Concert is a celebration of one of the greatest composers that ever lived. It is a 3-part performance combined with a traditional 3-course meal to immerse you into the world of 18th-century chamber music.

The ensemble Amadeus Prague consists of 2 of the best Opera singers in the country, led by members of the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra.

All the performers are dressed in elaborate period costumes, perfectly matched to the classical ballroom.

This first part of the 3-part performance is from Don Giovanni:

  • Aria Leporella – Notte e giorno faticar
  • Duet Zerlina and Masetto – Giovinette che fate l´amore
  • A Little Night Music – Allegro
  • Aria Zerlina – Batti, batti o bel Masetto
  • A Little Night Music – Romance

After this 20-minute performance, you will enjoy a starter, cream of sweet peas with chive yoghurt and croutons. The second part of the concert brings you the best of Mozart’s Operas:

After this, the main course is served. You will have a choice of succulent beef bourguignon or fluffy potato gnocchi. This hearty course leads you into the final act, pieces from The Magic Flute:

How much do Mozart Ballroom Concert tickets cost?

Prague’s Mozart Ballroom Concert tickets cost €79 per person. This includes a fabulous 3-course meal and a 1- hour performance. There are discounted tickets available at €59 per child for children aged 6-12 years.

However, there are different ticket classes, some offering a more exclusive experience. A seat on a private balcony with a welcome drink costs €147 per person.

You can also book a seat at a table for two in the first row for €147 per person. Dining at a table for two anywhere else in the ballroom costs €106 per person.

How to get there?

The Mozart Ballroom Concert in Prague is held at the Boccaccio Ballroom inside the Grand Hotel Bohemia and close to the centre of town.

The easiest mode of public transport is the subway and you can get off at the Náměstí Republiky station on the B train.

What time does it start?

Prague’s Mozart Ballroom Concert always starts at 7 pm. The doors open at 6:30 pm and all drink orders must be placed before 6:50 pm.

What is the dress code?

A smart-casual dress code is observed at the Mozart Ballroom Concert. If you attend the New Year's Eve concert the dress code is black tie.

What is the cancellation policy?

Some booking agents allow a full refund up to 24 hours before the performance while others do not offer a refund at all.
