Here's all you need to know about KidZania, one of the most exciting theme parks in Dubai.

How much do KidZania tickets cost?

There are a few different ticket options to pick from depending on the experience you want.

For children aged 4-16 there are two different ticket options. The first is the economy ticket which costs AED195 (about US$53) and includes access to all the cities and activities in KidZania, except for seasonal activities.

The other ticket option for children aged 4-16 is premium. This ticket costs AED260 (about US$70) and includes all city activities, access to seasonal activities, an AED20 (US$6) food and drink voucher, plus an AED20 (US$6) retail shop voucher.

For children aged 2-3, tickets cost AED110 (US$30), this includes access to all the activities within KidZania except for the activities with height or safety restrictions (and it does not include seasonal activities).

A standard adult ticket costs AED 95 (US$26), which includes admission to KidZania and access to the family lounge. Meanwhile, tickets for seniors aged 65+ cost AED70 (about US$20).

The cost for the Fun First Nursery depends on how long you and your child (under 2 years old) wish to play. The first-hour cost is AED75 (US$20), while three hours in the nursery costs roughly US$48.

Is it possible to visit for free?

For those aged 2 and under, entry to KidZania is free as they cannot participate in the activities. However, they must be accompanied by an adult. For those under 2, there is a Fun First Nursery.

Otherwise, there is no free entry. However, there are discounts for seniors which is generally 10%.

Furthermore, if you sign up and become a KidZania Citizen you get to enjoy exclusive discounts and benefits, also earning miles for every purchase which you can save up for different rewards.

Is it worth booking in advance?

Yes, it is recommended to book your tickets ahead of time. Booking in advance is important as during busy times (such as weekends), it can be fully booked.

Book ahead also means you don't have to wait in queues upon arrival, ensuring a hassle-free experience.

Burj Khalifa At The Top + KidZania Tickets

In addition to the educational experience at KidZania, this combo ticket also includes access to the Burj Khalifa's observation deck, where beautiful views of Dubai's skyline await.

You'll whiz up one of the world's fastest elevators to the 124th and 125th floors, which sit over 450 meters (1,480+ feet) above the ground.

With KidZania located inside the Dubai Mall, you can conveniently explore both attractions back to back, with some of the world's best shopping and dining experiences around the corner — Dubai Mall is home to over 1,200 stores and attractions, such as an indoor aquarium and the world's largest dancing fountain.

What will you see inside?

KidZania is filled with over 40 different real-life activities designed to inspire young minds, spread across 9 uniquely themed zones: Transportation, Services, Games, Media, Retail, Health, Education, Entertainment, and Food and Beverages.

These include experiences like shopping trips to the local supermarket, which teaches kids about the basics of budgeting; a visit to the radio station, turning your children into broadcasters and teaching them about media production; or a flight simulation experience, which gives kids the chance to get a feel for flying in a safe environment.

There's also a post office role-play experience and a fire station that allows kids to become firefighters for a day and practice their problem-solving skills. If your child wants to be something when they grow up, there's a great chance they can experience it at KidZania.

Parents can sit back and relax in the Adult's Lounge while the kids play too. There are food and beverages available from different outlets inside KidZania, which includes McDonald's, Pizza Express and a cafe.

Where is KidZania located in Dubai?

Kidzania is located in Dubai Mall on the second level, which is in the Downtown Dubai area. You can get there by car, either driving yourself or by taxi. If you drive yourself, parking is generally free for the first 3-4 hours.

Public transport is available to take you to the Dubai Mall. The closest train station, Burj Khalifa/ Dubai Mall Metro, is a 15-minute walk to the mall, and several bus lines run frequently to the Downtown Dubai hub.

With only 15 minutes from the Dubai International Airport, there are many ways to get to KidZania depending on your budget and your planned activities.

When is it open?

KidZania is open 7 days a week from 10 AM to 11 PM, with the last entry being 10 PM. The busiest times are on the weekend and in the early afternoons, so try to visit during the week in the mornings if possible.

Is it wheelchair friendly?
