What is Coco Bongo about?

Coco Bongo is one of the most famous entertainment venues in Latin America, which originated from a fictional nightclub of the same name featured in the 1994 Hollywood production “The Mask,” starring Jim Carey.

Just 3 years later, in 1997, a real-life Coco Bongo club opened in the city. The destination was a roaring success and, today has three venues across Mexico, and the Dominican Republic.

The show performed here is a sensational affair that envelopes visitors in a world of fun and freedom, with acrobatic performances, bubbles, videos and lights. By booking Cancún Coco Bongo show tickets, you can expect to see a recognizable green face, with The Mask making a nightly appearance.

Many other celebrity lookalikes take to the stage throughout the evening to lip-sync and boogie their way through a number of hit songs. The setlist at Coco Bongo is everchanging and is heavily influenced by pop culture. Past performances have included numbers from “Moulin Rouge,” Michael Jackson and The Beatles.

You’ll find yourself singing along to hits, both old and new, and you won’t be able to keep your feet from stepping in time to the beat as you become mesmerized by this over-the-top show.

From Spartan performances inspired by the ancient Greeks to Rio de Janeiro-style sambas and iconic Beatles records, Coco Bongo is known for the unexpected.

How much do Coco Bongo tickets cost?

Coco Bongo show ticket prices vary according to your own personal preferences.

The most budget-friendly passes are ladies' open-bar tickets, which cost US$93 per head, while general open-bar tickets cost US$113 each. Both of these allow you access to a range of domestic drinks, as well as two snacks throughout the evening.

Those who wish to upgrade their drinking experience can opt for premium open bar tickets, which cost US$142 per person and provide you with a wider variety of beverages. Gold member tickets reserve you a seat within a VIP area for US$182 each while also providing snacks and premium drinks.

Those who want to maximize the experience should consider opting for front-row tickets in the VIP with an open bar for US$218 per person.

You can choose to book out part of the VIP zone for your party if you’d prefer and prices start at US$1,176 for five guests, the majority of which goes toward your bar tab. These tickets reach upwards of US$2,300, depending on which part of the club you wish to be located in.

While you can choose whichever tickets suit your needs, you may benefit from a gold member or front-row ticket as the performance, while enjoyable, is also long and you may wish to take a break from dancing to sit down for a spell.

Many visitors also enjoy having access to premium drinks, which include international brands, such as Johnny Walker, Gordon’s and Smirnoff.
