Children over 1 and under 12 (or under 135 cm) must use a suitable child seat, by law. We do not provide baby seats for children under 1 year (rear-facing, up to 13 kg), customers must bring their own.
If you choose the transport-only option or only the ticket to Pena Palace, we cannot guarantee entry to Quinta da Regaleira on the day of the tour. Tickets may sell out quickly, especially during peak season.
Palace closures may occasionally occur due to weather alerts or other force majeure circumstances. In such cases, an alternative route will be offered.
Depending on entry time slots at Pena Palace, the order of the itinerary may be adjusted on the day.
The tour may be conducted in a van or a minibus, depending on the group size.
We are not responsible for any traffic congestion in the city, resulting from cultural, sport and religious events, or even demonstrations / strikes, etc. However we will always offer alternatives to avoid these situations; one of them is to change the pick-up and drop-off locations. Unfortunately, this may be transmitted without prior notice.
During the summer and especially on very hot days, the access to Sintra Monuments can be closed by local authorities due to the risk of wildfire. This information can only be released on the same day of the tour, so Cooltours cannot be held responsible for these situations, which are beyond our control. We will do everything to comply with the program, but if not, we will have other alternatives such as Queluz National Palace or Sintra Nacional Palace
