The AFEW (African Fund for Endangered Wildlife) Giraffe Centre is located in Langata, just outside Nairobi. Giraffe center was purposefully set up as a breeding center for the endangered Rothschild giraffe, a subspecies of the giraffe, only found in the grasslands of East Africa.
