We will start our walk in Parque los Andes, which at the weekend transforms from a sleepy park into a bustling flea market. If you are visiting at the weekend, we will take a look at the antiques and collectable stools.

For one of the stops on the walk we will learn the story of Gauchito Gil the Argentine folk hero. We will take a look inside a shrine and see how people pay their respect to this quasi-saint gaucho (cowboy)

Chacarita Cementery
During the walk we will visit Chacarita Cemetery which has a fascinating history. We will see the impressive tombs and mausoleums which were built during the country’s belle epoque period. It is also the resting place of Argentina’s most loved Artists, particularly from the Tango era.
