Jessica Remesnitzky

Back-end Developer

Biografie

Hey there, I'm Jessica, part of the Backend Developer duo alongside Andrea Vanelli on Tourscanner's Tech Team. My journey into programming started back in high school, and I've been hooked ever since. With over 13 years of experience and a degree in Applied Programming from the National Technological University of Argentina, I'm more enthusiastic than ever about diving into new technologies like AI and digital coins. Born and raised in Argentina, I've had the chance to explore various parts of the Americas, from Chile and Colombia to Brazil, Mexico, Saint Martin, and beyond. But, for me, nothing quite matches the beauty of San Martin de los Andes in the southern part of Argentina. Beyond the world of code, I'm a joyful and restless soul. You might catch me playing the piano, guitar, and various instruments, or diving into a new language (currently, I'm immersed in Italian lessons).

Reiservaring

My travel journey is a vibrant canvas, painted with Argentina's diverse landscapes — from the arid north of Salta and Jujuy to the picturesque south of Neuquen and Rio Negro, and of course, there's Buenos Aires, my home, and the destination for many weekend escapades. Beyond Argentina, I've explored Mexico's cenotes, scuba dived in the arrecifes of San Andres, Colombia, and immersed myself in Cuba's rich culture. And how could I ever forget Pucon, Chile, with its magical views and national parks? But, you know, adventure isn't everything. I've also found pure bliss chilling out on the beautiful beaches of Arraial do Cabo, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Saint Martin, and more.

If I had to pick only one, I would choose to explore Huerquehue National Park in Caburgua, Chile. Picture this: walking through a forest of gigantic Araucaria trees, some as tall as 70 meters and over 100 years old. The best part? Finding a quiet spot, sitting on the massive roots, and looking up at the sky through the towering trees. It was a moment of pure tranquility and connection with nature.
