At a whopping 30 meters tall, and big enough to accommodate up to 2,000 worshippers, the mosque is one of the biggest in the UAE – and, based on its facade, one of the most beautiful.

Across ten main library collections, you’ll find shelves upon shelves of kids books, magazines, non-fiction titles, reference materials, rare Emirati collections, and biographies. Either way, you can expect all of the high-octane, heart-in-mouth thrills of a freefall without actually having to jump out of a plane.

Where trampolines, ninja warrior courses, ropes courses, climbing walls, inflatable obstacles, and a zip line all come together, Air Maniax is one of the largest indoor adventure parks in Dubai, covering an area of 23,000 square feet.
With dedicated areas for the younger ones to run around in, but plenty of stuff for the bigger kids to do as well, it’s a great way to get some air-conditioned exercise when you need a break from the scorching desert heat.
Don’t miss the new Lazer Frenzy addition. Like a real-life bank heist, this interactive game will have you ducking under lasers and working your way through mirrors and smoke effects to get out the other side unscathed.

With more than 1,200 shops, plus 120 restaurants and an ice skating rink to boot, the Dubai Mall is often the number one starting point. But it’s far from the be-all and end-off of Dubai shopping.
If you’re hunting for high-end items, head to the Mall of the Emirates for designer labels and luxury brands. Here, brand names like Calvin Klein, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Chanel and Dior await. Of course, it’s also where you’ll find Ski Dubai, a winter wonderland with penguins, ski slopes and snowball fights!
Don’t miss Ibn Battuta Mall, the world’s largest themed shopping center. Sure, it offers over 270 stores, but the main drawer is the design! The mall is divided into six themes, each inspired by one of the places Ibn Battuta visited during his worldly travels, including Andalusia, Tunisia, Egypt, Persia, India, and China.
And then there are the Souks (traditional Arabian markets) that are still very much alive in Dubai. Head to the Gold Souk for an array of jewelry, or the Spice Souk for a sensory delight.
For something a little different, Souk Madinat Jumeirah recreates an authentic vintage mall while the Dragon Mart has more Chinese clothing and food imports than you can shake a stick at.
