An iconic place to take in the last golden rays of the sun, the Mirador de Vallebrón is a beautiful viewpoint located inside the Vallebrón Protected Landscape, north of Fuerteventura town.

Visit the 14th-century Santa María de Betancuria built in a French Gothic style with a beautiful 17th-century-style altar. The altar holds a sacred image of the Immaculate Conception and beautiful examples of Franciscan images.
Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de Regla is a church from 1660, and though it’s a simple church, it’s considered one of the most important buildings in the town of Pájara. Observe the ornate details of the exterior entryway, from geometric shapes to animals and humans.
Another simple yet beautiful church is the Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Peña in Pájara, with an altar decorated with elements donated by faithful Virgin devotees.

Check out the origins of the island of Fuerteventura, a network of caves that were created 150 million years ago called the Cuevas de Ajuy (Ajuy Caves).
