It was wonderful to try some typically British food specialties we weren’t familiar with such as tasty Scotch eggs and jellied eels. We loved the oysters and fizz along with the selection of British cheeses. It was fun to visit Shakespeare’s favorite pub and try some typical ale!

What an experience to enjoy a pint in a 500 year old pub! The guide kept us entertained with lots of stories and historical curiosities and we even learned how to play the traditional pub game shuffleboard. The group size was small so there was lots of group interaction throughout the tour!

It was lovely to get a great overview of Greenwich through the culinary delicacies. The small group made the tour feel really personal and we loved tasting the English cider at the gastropub.
