Bio
I am a freelance travel copywriter and blogger living in the picturesque English Lake District. With over 20 years in the travel industry, I've enjoyed roles in marketing, sales, content creation, and even as a tour representative abroad. My writing has been featured in several international publications, and I've collaborated with tour operators and hospitality providers worldwide. I'm often adventuring on safari in Kenya, haggling in Moroccan souks, or enjoying the luxury of Scottish castles. When I'm back home, I love camping in the Cumbrian fells and playing the double bass.
Expériences de voyage
I’ve explored everywhere from the souks of Marrakesh to the tea plantations of Sri Lanka. In Africa, I’ve enjoyed safaris in Kenya, island life in Sao Tome and Principe, and road trips around South Africa. I have a soft spot for South America, where I’ve sailed in the Galapagos and slept in rainforest treehouses in Peru. Colombia, Brazil and Curacao were equally captivating. Closer to home, I’ve taken trips around Europe, checking out the geothermal wonders of Iceland and the mountains of Slovenia. Meanwhile, Asia brought new discoveries from Bangkok to Bali. Highlights of visits to North America have been camping in the Grand Canyon and living the high life in Las Vegas.
Meilleurs souvenirs de voyage
It was just before sunset and the Guatemalan jungle was alive with activity. Howler monkeys were calling in the rainforest canopy while toucans soared overhead on their last flight of the day. I was sitting on the top of a Mayan temple at Tikal, admiring the treetop views with my partner. I thought the scene couldn’t get any more special, but when he pulled out a ring and popped that all-important question, I knew this would be a moment to treasure.
