Theme parks in Bali are fun for all the family, with everything from rip-roaring water slides to eating breakfast with orangutans. Most Bali attraction parks are variations on a theme of aquatic adventures and animal encounters, which is sure to delight younger visitors.

Waterbom

One of the most popular Bali theme parks is Waterbom in Kuta. This outdoor adventure playground has everything you’ll need for an action-packed day out with the kids. It’s a great place to keep cool in the tropical afternoon heat too.

Chase your friends down the terrifying Twin Racers and test your courage on the Boomerang if you fancy a bit of freefall. Then catch your breath with a float down the Lazy River or chill out at the beach. Whether you’re looking for pure bursts of adrenaline or just a relaxing day in the sun, Waterbom has it all.

Bali Zoo

This attraction park in Bali is one for animal lovers. It’s located halfway between Sanur and Ubud so is easy to reach on a day trip. Bali Zoo is a heart-warming and educational experience for all types of traveler and offers interactive encounters and shows to make your visit extra special.

There are creatures from all corners of the globe here including African lions, Bengal tigers and Australian pelicans. Book breakfast with the orangutans or play with the gentle Sumatran elephants as they enjoy a well-earned mud bath. You’ll have a wild time no matter what you decide to do!

Bali Bird Park

Get your hands on some Bali Bird Park tickets and meet some of the island’s most exotic residents in Batubulan. There are over 1,000 birds at this attraction park in Bali, some of which are extremely rare. The grounds are lush and tropical, with lots of native plant life to set the stage.

Flying around overhead you’ll spot the playful parrots as they show off their aerial acrobatics. Meanwhile, down in the pond, regal pink flamingos rule the roost. The peacocks add an imperious air to the scene and the cranes bring a slice of Asia with their iconic crowns and dances.

Bali Safari and Marine Park

Home to over 100 different animal species, this wildlife attraction park in Bali is one of the best-known zoos on the island. It boasts an aquarium as well as a safari enclosure, with plenty of interactive shows to keep young explorers entertained.

At the Bali Safari and Marine Park in Gianyar, you can ride around the complex in a safari van. If you can’t go to Africa, this is the next best thing! There’s also a theme park zone for when you want a change of pace, and several restaurants so you can make a day of it. Book tickets in advance – they’re very popular!

Finns Super Fun Pass

Finns Super Fun Pass is your one-stop shop for all things sporting and entertainment. This Bali theme park ticket gives you access to several venues in Canggu including Finns Recreation Club and Finns Beach Club. The pass is generally valid for a week, so if you’re staying in the area, you can spread out the fun.

The children can let off steam in the trampoline arena and the water park, while adults can indulge both body and soul at the spa. There’s also ten-pin bowling on offer, and a kids club to give weary parents a bit of welcome respite.

Circus Waterpark

Located just 5 minutes from Denpasar, Circus Waterpark is another hotspot for aquatic adventures. It’s quite compact so is great for those with younger children who want to splash around in the sun. The wave pools at this Bali waterpark are the best on the island, and the Lazy River is just made for floating in rubber rings.

The waterslides will have you screaming in delight, with flumes and rides available for all ages. Adrenaline seekers should try the Spiral Slider while the little ones will love the Bucket Tipper. It’s easy to see why this is one of the favorite attraction parks in Bali for families.

Splash Water Park

This Bali water park packs a punch when it comes to fun in the sun, with attractions for all the family. Conveniently located in Canggu, Splash Water Park has everything from thrilling flumes to child-friendly pool playgrounds.

Hold your nerve as you plummet down the Big Red and challenge your friends to a contest on the Giant Racer. For something more relaxing, float down Crazy Creek in a rubber ring or bag a sun lounger and top up that vacation tan.

If you’re here for the day with a group of friends, you can hire a poolside cabana as your base.

Wake Park

At Bali Wake Park, thrill-seekers can show off their moves while slicing through the waves in a controlled environment. It’s the ultimate ocean adventure, with wakeboarding, kneeboarding and waterskiing all on the cards.

The mounted overhead cable system does all the hard work so you can concentrate on looking good. This might be one of the more specialist theme parks in Bali, but you don’t have to be an expert to give wakeboarding a whirl.

All you need is enthusiasm and the willingness to get wet! Beginners will enjoy an introductory lesson with an instructor before taking the plunge in Benoa Harbor.
